And sometimes it is a little hard

I was traveling for work today and did not have total control over my meals so it was challenging.
Breakfast at the bed and breakfast: grilled fresh pineapple (good), sliced croissants turned into French toast and then soaked in syrup (skipped), and tiny turkey sausages, microwaved (yuck, but I ate 3). The servings were small so I was still hungry when I finished, but it was enough to get me started.
Lunch, provided at work: greasy takeout pizza, which I skipped. Instead, all I had was a banana I had packed in case of emergency.
Dinner, at kid's end-of-season soccer party. I put together: a bowl of lettuce topped with tomato salsa and cubed steak, accompanied with a pile of raw veggies. It was the best I could compile from the potluck dishes.
Breakfast was barely enough, and the banana at lunch saved my life. Talk about grease bombs - the younger people scarfed all the pizza down but I just could not put it into my body. I was so hungry by dinner time that I would have binged if I could. But I had to wait until after the kids had made their way through the buffet line, and there wasn't much healthy left by then.
I'm looking forward to getting back to home-made meals tomorrow!
