The Ultimate Sparkpeople Life Challenge
Monday, November 16, 2015
I don't know if you read about this new life challenge by Chris, Sparkguy extraordinaire, but it really intrigues me.
This is a way to incorporate life changes along with dieting and exercise changes. The aim is to change everything in our lives for the better. I like this a lot. I believe I have NOW been doing this in my life, and to be successful in this journey, you must make positive changes. The things that were driving us to destructive overeating and lack of exercise can be eliminated and we can live the best possible life we can.
I read a blog this morning (thanks, Pam) "We mature with the damage"
This is about how you have to have the positive mindset to head into this health journey and succeed. You have to have the mindset to succeed in love. You have to hope you can positively influence those around you to be better. You have to be ready for this journey, or you will not succeed. I know that if I joined Spark a year ago, I would not have been a success. I was not mentally prepared to succeed. I do not think I believed I was worth all this extraordinary effort. I do now. Do what you can every day to stop negative thoughts, to to love yourself unconditionally, and know this might be the most important victory of your life. Those are the tools we need to win.
Spark guy's challenge is four-pronged:
Get clear about your goals so you know where you are headed
*Fitness & Health Cornerstone
Get in the best shape possible both mentally and physically to carry out your goals
Stay passionate and motivated along your journey
*Positive Force Cornerstone
Share your energy; get more in return
I love this whole challenge and I intend to embrace it fully. I hope you all join me.
