Fall 2015 Update

My days ran together, it was crazy. I walked a 5k Saturday--actually almost
4 miles, my time was 56 minutes-my goal for April--the actual 5K is 36. I took it easy as my shin splints have been bad.
Today the hubby and I did our first workout at the gym. We decided since it is getting cold and yuck out, it was time. We were able to join one for the whole family for only $40/month--really not bad. So today I rode 5 miles, and used a rowing machine--I only lasted 3 minutes before I was pooped.
Man that is a workout---if you have never rowed before give it a try. Bonus it didn't irritate my shins at all.

We always get a hotel with a decent gym and pool, and pack 70% of our food, so we stay pretty well on track, but I still don't want to lose any money
Last time I won $90---which went for my next bet, and new workout pants.

The hubby and I have been at this healthy lifestyle thing together for.....12 weeks!!!!!! Isn't that crazy, us doing it together has been amazing. So great for our relationship as well!!
