Good Morning!

Once again the Ping Pong Game is in process. Up 2 lbs, from the 2 lb loss a couple of days ago. So I go through the list-
Did I stay within my daily nutritional guidelines- Yep
Did I snack excessively- Yep
Did I drink enough water- Nope
Did I get enough movement- Nope- had a cold and blew off two exer-play classes.

Well alright then. So today I commit to the low end of my calorie range, and if is isn't part of the plan, then save it for tomorrow and make it part of the plan- Did you hear that you ALMONDS!!
Today it is not your turn!

I don't have to blow off an exer-play class. A class is an hour and while it is true that I may not feel well, I can at least do something! ( Besides sitting at the computer and feeling yucky!)

I can include the tea I drink in my water intake. I am loving the green tea.

I will lose 10 lbs in the next month. I gave myself some grace when I quit smoking, and now it is time to step up my game! I found some great dip recipes on the Spark page this morning, and there are a couple that I can incorporate into my snacks. Today I took my daily allowance ( because I am heavy it is actually quite a bit) and divided it by 4. So for each meal Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner, I am planning about 350 cal per meal. The remaining 350 gives me 3 snacks of about 100 calories. That seems like a lot, so I can have AM snack, afternoon snack, and an evening snack. I will try this the rest of the week and see if it will kick my metabolism in the butt. If not- well then I will just have to revise my goals.

I was hoping to do a little clothes shopping, but not until I drop 45 lbs. That will be 15% of my beginning weight. I can actually visualize that one!!

    Two words: normal fluctuation! That's one of the downfalls of weighing every day (I do weigh each day), but it helps to learn your body's patterns that way, too. Just try to develop some patience with your efforts. We didn't always gain weight as fast as we expect (or hope) to take it off. Good luck! You're doing great!!

    What a great blog! Congrats on quitting smoking, its tough....as I quit last year.

    I never thought to divide my allowance by four...thank you for sharing that tip.

    Good morning, I feel your pain! I actually just posted about my 3lb gain in one week. However a wise sparkler just posed a comment suggesting that I may weigh in too frequently, as a persons weight does fluctuate daily. Also if you are sick then rest
