Thought for Day

Friday, November 20, 2015

As I sit here and think of all that I am Thankful for, I would like to take a minute and ask everyone to remember those who may not think that they have much to be thankful for.

Perhaps they are going to be alone this Thanksgiving and up coming Holiday season. For what ever reason a family will be staring at an empty chair once filled by someone they loved and held dear. If you know someone like this, can you think of a reason not to say a kind word or maybe invite them to your house for the holidays.

Try thinking of the less fortunate this year and visit a elderly neighbor, a homeless shelter, soup kitchen or an elderly home. Try making a difference this year in someone's life.

What ever you decide to do, remember the soul that you are administering to just might be your Savior. Even a simple kindness can go a long way in this day and time.

Love always your sister in Christ Jesus

Jill~ This is beautiful! We visited our across the street neighbor that is 77 and invited her for Christmas dinner ~all her family visited Christmas Eve; her hubby passed away many years ago and we wanted to be with her. She's my DS's "Grandma" since his DG is across the country and can't visit ! We LOVE her though we've only known her for 7 mos.! emoticon emoticon emoticon
