My happy weight is when I can bend over and tie my shoes, clip my toenails, walk up stairs without pain or endurance. I can walk 5 miles without winding. My posture is erect, and when I look in the mirror, I don't see Mr. Dunlop. My blouses drape without seeing Babuska. I fit in size 10-14 clothing. I don't see double knees, and I only have one chin.
I have been doing Sparks program for 84 days now. I haven't lost a lot of weight, but I have started eating healthier and have been accountable for my food intake. I also quit smoking and haven't had a large gain. I push 3 pounds around but that is a win in my book.
I am ready to tackles some more issues now.
Just revised Nutritional goals, reducing calories to 1200-1400 per day, reduce cholesterol to 200, (the program wouldn't let me adjust from 300) dropped sodium to 1300 mg.
Consistent Exercise Program- 30 minutes a day minimum
Up and dressed to shoes by 8:30 AM Bed by 10pm
Drink Green Tea
Limit sweets, sugar to 100 cal per day
Limit emotional eating by sticking to planned snacks.
I will continue:
Logging my food
Trying a new recipe every week.
Planning my meals, while allowing flexibility for social events.
These are going to be a real challenge- not impossible just stretching a bit.
