Today Might Be The Day!

Sunday, November 29, 2015

With each new day, there is a set of things/experiences that requires a response; a response, be it a negative or positive. This morning I awaken with a pressing desire to attend church, one of my spiritual empowerment places. While attending church is normal for me, I kept hearing the words, "Today might be the day"...not exactly clear...I proceeded to get dressed and RESPONDED to this inner prompting!

Interestingly, for a brief moment, I actually contemplated not going-I don't understand why I wouldn't go and the various reasons that came to my mind...really didn't make sense AT ALL!! Nevertheless, I CHOSE to honor the inner prompting and I am so very glad that I did.

There are a few things going on in my life at this time and I seek direction and wise counsel to help me as I journey. I am very glad that I attended because, I was able to gain invaluable insight and revelation about my forward movement, not only in the area of weight loss but other areas as well. It was a bit emotional for me but so refreshing to my soul.

Had I not responded to the inner prompting and decided to go, I would have missed a special moment, specifically designed to fuel my life with great vigor to LIVE, LOVE, HONOR and SERVE more purposely. I feel amazingly empowered, MENTALLY, SPIRITUALLY, and PHYSICALLY!

To conclude, I want to encourage someone to honor as often as possible that "inner prompting" by choosing to respond accordingly. There is always a reward for obedience; things in our lives can and do appear to be at times, a tab bit crazy, but know that "Today Might Be the Day"! An opportunity for a divine/spiritual encounter that will change your life's perspective forever.

Staying the course,

Jdd
