Just Do It

Monday, November 30, 2015

I strongly support the process of thinking a thing through and weighing the pro and cons. However, there are some matters that requires a "Just Do It" mentality.

Water intake is a challenge, 8 cups that is, as I've average 6 cups daily over the past 7 weeks. I know that I need to increase and do understand the wonderful benefits of drinking water consistently, daily but it's been very very challenging.

When I first started several weeks ago, I had to start somewhere and I agreed with myself that I could consistently, daily get in 4-6 cups; again, I was able to maintain this streak to date. I'm not certainly trying to drink a gallon but just what is reasonably required.

This morning, without thinking about, I filled my 24oz cup and finished off by noon. The next 32oz, I just completed, so ONLY 1 more cup to go. I feel as though I have embraced the "Just Do It" mentality, with respect to daily water consumption!

I have a strategy, at night, prepare my 24oz cup and place it on my night stand so that in the morning, I reach for my water; no more thinking about, contemplating it...with the same commitment that I took on the 10min cardio no matter what, is the EXACT same posture that I take with my 8 cups of water daily!!! emoticon
