Day 472 Mom's mini stockings
Monday, November 30, 2015
Last week mom had asked for 6 of those little stocking I was making. So I let her choose colors and today when I got there this is what she had done with her little stocking. Pretty cute idea especially for someone with moderate alzheimers.
I did run into to town early this morning. I made sure they would have everything they could want or need over the next couple of days and took mom a couple of more decorations.
Then of course I drove home in the freezing rain. But about an hour later it turned to snow and is still snowing. I'm guessing we have about 4" on the ground. My snow guy called and will come by tomorrow evening hoping the snow will stop by then. Sure hope I get to keep Wed. doctors appt.
Not too bad today. Did have a little melt down when my mom had my dad call me and ask where her sleigh and reindeer where. I held it together long enough to say I'm not sure who took that box home. But curled up in a ball on the couch for a little sad while after I hung up.
I did get up and sew on Morgan's quilt and put the label on Marley's today. I'm going to hand stitch around the label and then that one is ready to ship. Now I'm going to go sit in front of the TV and finish an odd little Christmas tree. It's called a folded granny square tree. Sure seems to be easy enough to make.
I am so glad my inside has settled down some. It just plain makes things so much easier.
