Dec 1- The Beginning of the Last Month in the Year.

53 days smoke free. I can say I was really unsure of ever getting to this point. Like most I have quit 100 times and started 101. I continue to reset my goal- one day at a time. So for 53 days I have remained smoke free. I am 312 days away from having my one year anniversary.

I have saved money, improved my blood pressure, reduced my medications, improved my sense of smell, and have the feeling of accomplishment that comes from success.

I feel I have a handle on how to prepare balanced nutritional meals. Thanks to the information and articles on Sparks. I love how supportive the community is.

I am still working on some eating issues, like over snacking, emotional eating and recognizing hunger signals. I still have some bad habits that I would like to lose. This isn't to beat myself up- just to realize that I am still a work in process and God isn't through with me yet. I joined at team: BREAK THE BAD HABITS AND MAKE BETTER ONES. I hope to learn from others and share what I have learned.

Todays Spark Coach lesson was about the Journey of One. We have to customize our journey to meet our needs. We can be an example to others, and we can use the articles and success stories to help us design our journey. But it is ours. Let others be guides, not Goals.
