Day 369 - Success is no accident

Success IS no accident! I've discovered over the past year that it takes hard work, and a LOT of perseverance, to achieve your goals. This site makes it possible by giving you the resources and the tools to make changes in your life, but you have to walk the walk, and talk the talk, if you really want to make those dreams your reality.
I've learned so much by doing this program. The biggest things I've learned: portion control (that includes weighing and measuring all the time) and daily exercise that is as high in intensity as I can handle, while also being willing to push myself.
My changes have been dramatic and amazing. I'm now down 47 pounds from the start of this program. I started at 209.9, and this morning I was 162.9. I honestly cannot remember when I weighed this little. Back in 2004, I lost 40 pounds and was 164 at my lowest, so to be a pound below that, especially in my late 50s, is totally remarkable.
If I can inspire anyone who is new to Spark, it is this message: you have to work at it, but the WORK is WORTH it! As Pele says, you can LEARN to LOVE what you're doing. As long as you know that the results are worth the energy.
You CAN do this. I BELIEVE in you.
