Goodbye, beloved Laptop!

My wonderful Macbook Pro that my daughter gave me 4 years ago, when she purchased a smaller and newer one for college, is on its last legs. When started up, it keeps restarting and restarting and restarting, without actually starting up. I had to start it in safe mode, and ran a few recovery things as suggested by the Apple site. It looks like I lost a majority of pictures that I didn't already save on Google Drive or ICloud. At least I saved some. I will have to get over myself and get a Microsoft laptop, a really cheap one, just to keep me afloat. I tried to live without my laptop and just did everything over my cell phone, but it is so hard to keep up with my Sparkfriends, my teams, and encourage people as I love to do with my little phone. So I have not been doing that as much as I want. Actually, I tried to post a Blog entry numerous times, and had to give up, because it is just not easy, the screen keeps jumping, then an advertisement interferes and then the blog is lost. A-R-G-H. Well, on the upside, all are well at my end. The girls are in the midst of their Midterm finals. Julia will be leaving for her Winter Internship in Argentina soon, and working on spending a year in Germany after her Masters is done in May. Sarah is planning her Winter break with lots of fun stuff, like volunteering at the local shelter, and learning more web coding via Internet tutorials. And hopefully cooking. She is a really good cook, and I hope she will spend some time at my house making meals.
My sister has come for her vacation and left again. We had an amazing time together. So much so, that we are already planning for her to come back next November. We are hoping to do an Architect Tour in NYC (maybe self guided, because shelling out 500 bucks for a tour seems ridiculous). And I signed up for the Winter 5 % Challenge, hopefully as a Shooting Star again, because that team is amazing, and it was so much fun. I was even considering of helping the team leaders with the team, but then my Laptop broke, so I was not going to risk letting anyone down. That might be in my future in Spring. I love Spark, and am all in. I guess I took my own advice stolen from Nike and "Just did it" :)
