Day 383 - Secrets

SparkPeople has introduced a new feature called Secrets of Success that now can earn you SparkPoints. For those of you who have spent any time with me may already know, I'm a SparkPoint junkie. I love earning points, and will do everything I can to get the maximum points I can every day. When you submit a Secret of Success, you can earn 25 points per day. What a great "fix" to my addiction!

One of them I've already used in a blog post. The other one I wrote this morning. It wasn't as awesome as I'd hoped it would be, but it wasn't horrible either.

The thing is, you have to write 1700 characters for the "secret" to be submitted. That's longer than many of my blog posts and takes a bit of time. I'm not sure that I can write a long secret of success post AND a decent blog post every day. Hmmm, 3 points for a blog post versus 25 points for a secret of success post.

The struggle is real.

Seriously, I would much rather write a blog post that provides a source of conversation with friends than a secret of success post that just floats in the ether.

I'm just grateful for this forum where we can share ideas and support each other. I am always so inspired by the posts you all write, and I love commenting on them. And I love reading the comments you post on my blogs. Your support, insight, and encouragement bring me such joy every day.

The secret to my success at this journey has been the support of all of you. I am here and happy and maintaining successfully because of all the "sparks" that you've provided me along the way.

So thank you. I guess the secret is out.
