A broken scale---------------
Sunday, December 20, 2015
Ok--so back from vacation and I now have time to write about the last 2 days before I left, which was the 12th.
Sooooooo our scale died on the 10th. It was 5 years old, so probably due. Anyways--the hubby and I went and got a new one the next day, same brand but this one is glass. The scale before we left the new scale was reading exactly 10lbs heavier than our Weds weight, for both my husband and myself. I felt very defeated--but I told myself, just keep going, just keep going.
So I persevered and got in 4 days of intense working out, as well as fairly good eating during my vacation.
I came to the conclusion that I am just going to make my starting weights 10 lbs heavier, and adjust my weigh-ins as well. Because after all, at the end of the day it is only a number. It does not define my health, my fitness level, how kind I am, how good of a wife/mother I am, and how much I love.
It is a piece of metal that provides information, nothing more.
