new day

Today is a new day...I am drinking my protein shake and exercising while watching Making a Murderer on Netflix. I had wrote a blog the other day about my weekend but I lost internet connection as I posted it and lost the entire blog. The summary of it was this past weekend was stressful with my in-laws. It was such a busy weekend that we didn't have time to eat healthy as we were eating at 9-10 at night and we were all very exhausted . I was able to do my 30 day challenge exercises everyday and walk except I didn't feel like walking sunday night as I was tired and didn't feel good. I was okay with taking a day off. Fast forward to yesterday. I was suppose to work Tuesday night 4pm to midnight but my boss called and asked if I could cover the midnight to 8 am shift. I didn't want to but I need the money so I did. I never sleep very well at work. I came home exhausted and decided to take the day off from everything. I ate a very unhealthy breakfast and went to bed. I didn't walk or do my 30 day challenge. I stepped on the scale and haven't lost anything. I know I shouldn't focus on the number on the scale but I have to see some progress or I get upset.
Today, however, is a different story. I woke up ready to start again. I did sleep in but oh well. I put on my thrive (I started the new black label today-it's suppose to help you lose even more weight). I did my 30 day challenge from yesterday and today (I have figured out this challenge is a mix of yoga and palates). I had my protein shake and am ready for the day. I will be walking 3 miles today (1 from yesterday and I start my 2 miles a day today). My husband signed us both up for the 5k and I am also doing the 10k. I am working my way up to be able to do the 10k. I will slowly start running as I up my mileage everyday.
Last night my husband agreed to let my try this new weight loss starter kit called shapeology. I ran into a blog that advertised bulu-you can try weight loss/health samples each month. You receive a box full of samples and the box is $10 a month. If you order a starter kit you receive a full year of these samples for free. So I was able to order this starter kit which has a detox system in it and get the sample boxes each month. I also found a protein powder that is coffee flavor. The reviews say it tastes just like Starbuck's (if you know anything about me, you know how much I love coffee). I am excited to try these new products and see if they work. If anybody wants to try shapeology, let me know as I receive points for referring people. Through bulu you receive points for ordering products, these points turn into discounts.
Sorry this is so long...I didn't plan on it being this long!
