After being on sparkpeople for a couple weeks now and tracking my food it has made me way more conscious of how much I was eating before. When I see something I want but shouldn't eat I think about how many calories it is and what that does to my tracking and that that one little snack will take alot for my planning and from my daily goals.

    Yup. Being more conscious of what you eat helps. If you really want it, watch your portion size. A half cup of ice cream isn't what people normally eat.
