Break's Over

So I took break from SparkPeople and everything without even realizing it. Sure, I'd log in every day and get my fitness minutes in, but I wasn't really "here." I guess I just let life get to me.

Well, I'm back and focusing solely on SP. I had joined Weight Watchers and it is a fine program, but wasn't working for me with my technological impairments so to speak. So I quit that, but am ready to focus on tracking here.

I have learned the main problem though emoticon Sugar! I never had a sweet tooth growing up, but since going gluten free that seems to have changed. Most likely because I don't eat a lot of the gf breads and such I don't get enough carbs. So I would start craving sweets.

I also have not been good about tracking my food. I have no excuse for that anymore - I have a computer, an old iPad, and a simple smartphone that I can use to access SparkPeople.

I also wasn't taking into account what I was drinking. I knew I was cheating myself, but I was just ignoring the liquid calories. Now I am working toward drinking only water and plain tea again.

So I know what I need to do. I know how to do it. I just need to stop being lazy basically and do it!

    You can do it! I don't think taking out gluten has anything to do with craving sugar though. It could just be a change in your body. You can get carbs from other things - try sweet potatoes and bananas.
