Are you making the most of your weather?

Friday, January 29, 2016

I hope you are!
That question is mostly aimed at all you Sparkers lucky enough to have decent weather at this time of year!
And, as a shorts wearing Minnesotans in 60 degree California weather (who were looked at like we were crazy)...I recommend that you start! Or, better yet, perhaps you should take a vacation "Up North" or "Out East" to see how good you have it! ;)

The fact that I only ran once in the four days that I was in California depresses me a little bit! Who would have thought I'd have less time on vacation than I do in an average week!

I hope we all can find a way to embrace our current weather situations... Let's make the most of what we've got!

It's surprisingly hard to work out while on vacation! You have so much else going on and so much to do - not to mention so much good food - that it's easy to let exercise go low on your priority list. Still, as long as you don't lose the thread entirely and you pick it up again as soon as you get back, it shouldn't be too big an issue!

Not sure what your weather is going to be this weekend. I hear some negative vibs of snow!! I am honestly loving then winter here in TX as a retired person. And I will also tell you that what you experienced on your vacation happens daily in your retirement years.! We never know why a day has to go so fast and be so busy but love it anyway. Temps should get into the 50's tonight and I wear shorts through hot and cold times. We are working up to the 90's for the 1st part of next week!!

This time of year I have to make the best of my weather by working out INDOORS usually. It's pretty cold outside (typical for Ontario, Canada in January) and there isn't really enough snow for all the fun outdoor sports yet. Just keep moving wherever you may be, right?
