Day 534 Do you have an eating personality?

I ask this question because of the way today went.

First off I did go into town to take mom and dad the tax form I got in the mail for them. Needed to do that before I lost it. I'm not a very organized person. I also did just a little shopping for food for me and not the animals today.

My usual eating personality is that I can go a long time without eating. I enjoy a little fruit with toast in the morning and then it can be 3 or 4 in the afternoon before I even think about eating again if I can keep myself busy but today was not one of those days.

I woke up starving. So I made oatmeal. A nice hearty type breakfast with lots of nice fiber. But an hour later I was again starving. But I ignored it and went to town. I was too hungry to be at the store. I did buy donuts. It was a bad thing. I ate one on the way home and then I made lunch and had another donut. Luckily I only bought a package of 4 of them. There are now 2 left. But once I finally got full after lunch I really didn't need to eat again today. I did have a small bowl of the soup a couple of hours ago.

I hate this odd type of day where I'm so very hungry early in the day and until I get to the point of feeling full I'm just so uncomfortable. This is a day I call extra hungry personality.

I enjoy my normal days so much better. I feel in control when I eat when I'm hungry and can plan how my meals are going to look and follow my plan. That is so much more normal.

Tomorrow will be better. I only have to bad hungry days once in a great while now.

I did crochet a lot today. There was a TV marathon of an odd show I like so I watched several of them this afternoon and evening. I also started a series of granny squares that are only on youtube. It's called 365 days of grannies. So it is one square a day. I'm thinking that I'll choose 4 or 5 colors for each month and then put them together and make some small afghans with the 30 squares every month. My colors for Jan. are light brown, yellow, moss green, white and burgundy. Of course I'm already behind since I only have 11 days done. But they will be available all year long so I'm not worried.

I so love to craft, sew or crochet a lot. I'm thinking those things keep me sane.

    I got into much better eating habits by making myself eat something a meal time, whether I thought I was hungry or not, to avoid getting over hungry later. When meals are skipped, I over do, every time. And shopping when hungry? Always a struggle, not a good plan.

    So, I think there is a clue in your own sentence " I m not a very organized person" yet you have an elaborate scheme laid out for 365 days. The colours, etc, so I will be bold and suggest. Apply that skill to your " eating personality". Try it.

    Doesn't really know when it's going to eat, so kind of like you said you get hungry but then get busy and you're not hungry when you are hungry and so on. Best to get a regular schedule going

    And then several hours later I'd be hungry again, etc etc. I got used to feeding myself at proper time so my body kind of regulated itself. Because I totally agree with you when you come to get into that pattern of skipping meals then your body

    Are used to be that person that skip breakfast and wasn't hungry for hours but for me at least once I started getting into the habit of waking up and putting food in my mouth I was just naturally hungry when I got up in the morning.
