Day 429 - Keep Going and Never Quit

Tuesday, February 02, 2016

I saw this image on Facebook this afternoon, and I thought it was one of the most perfect symbols of the Spark revolution. Keep Going and Never Quit.

Of course, I would change that to "Keep Sparking and Never Quit." But that's just me.

There are many successful people who have encountered pitfalls along their journey to success. Did that stop that? No, it made them stronger and helped them find the right path to reaching their goals.

Who is your inspiration? Does their story help you get closer to your target? Does their struggle mirror your own? Use their challenges to give you the motivation that will help you get to where you want to be.

We might find our heroes of health from many different avenues, but the important thing is to use their experience as fuel for our own fire. While the ultimate choices we make in our lives are our own, they are definitely influenced by those who forged the trail ahead of us. We are grateful for those who cleared the path, making it easier for those of us who followed.

Now Keep Sparking and Never Quit! If you've already reached your goals and shared your success, thank you for being a trailblazer! You are an inspiration for us all!

This is so true and so important, and I needed to read it today.

I am sorry I missed your call. I have had a wretched weekend here at this place, and hopefully it will get better. I THINK I will be here for at least another week, and mabye longer, if I cannot get my leg to move. There is a weird dynamic when you have knee replacement surgery, because the knee area is really swollen, and it is hard to bend it. Right now, I cannot bend my knee AT ALL, and one of the hard and fast rules is that I have to be able to bend and lift my leg, or I don't go home. (If I cannot do this in another week, I am probably going home anyway, because I won't be able to take it anymore!!) Don't worry, I am going to be careful, and MF said that anytime I wanted to go home, she would be happy to make sure either her or Tanner were home to help. I don't need all that, but do think a positive attitude is incredibly important.

I will try to call you this weekend. I PROMISE not to bitch.

I love these and saved them to my IPad!
It is mind bending when you read these, as we think of these people as just being successful and not what it took! I know with JK Rowling, she was dirt poor and suffered from depression! I am moved beyond words when people go up against the odds and win...and still remain humble and caring people!
    Thank you for sharing, Sparky!
    Have a great day!
    Hugs,
