Another busy day

Thursday, February 04, 2016

I'm finally getting a chance to relax today. I've been running errands and have been super busy around here. I got my grocery shopping done, I had to return a Christmas present (I'm well aware that it was well over a month ago!!), came home and unloaded groceries, got a load of laundry done, cooked dinner for both us and my parents (mom is recovering from knee replacement), got my son to his dentist appointment, managed to eat dinner and then it was off to the high school for a meeting about my daughter's AP classes for next year.

I didn't get a chance to actually work out today, but I will get one in tomorrow morning. I'm working all weekend, so I want to make sure I get a workout in because I know I won't get one in over the weekend, but I do get plenty of steps in at work. When I work the weekends three 12's in a row I basically work, sleep, eat, repeat.

So I've been looking for new cookware. I have my t-fal set that I got for my wedding 19 years ago, but I'm looking to replace my second set which isn't very good. I'm kinda leaning towards either Calphalon or Circulon. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm gonna try to go to bed early tonight. I still have a bad habit of staying up too late.

Have a great night and thanks for reading.

My gosh Amy, you are a busy woman. You're so right to get in the workout when you can before your 36 hour work fest starts.
I have some All Clad Limited pieces, some lodge cast iron, some Le Creuset, I highly recommend all three. I like to buy individual pieces instead of sets, I'm pretty fussy about my kitchen ware and only want what I want. The Le Creuset is my favorite but it's not cheap. Some of the pieces I've had though for 30+ years, and they look and perform as good as new. I also have two super cheap pieces that I replace frequentlyfor those messy occasion jobs.
