Day 540 Off on another creative adventure....

Friday, February 05, 2016

I did have to buy the pattern for the afghan the feathers go on. Now I just have to wait for my niece to send me her yarn and I'll get started. It takes at least 102 little feathers sewn onto a background piece. I hope I can do it justice. I got the pattern at Craftsy one of my favorite pattern spots.

Today spiraled a bit out of control. I managed to get in almost 9000 steps. I'm pretty sore tonight. I got my hair done this morning because they tell me it's Fri. I somehow completely missed Thurs. Then I went to mom and dads. and did some shopping for mom. Then I drove the 40 miles to a better Walmart because I wanted something I new they had that ours didn't have. And then I went to my favorite grocery and did my shopping. Just a little I really didn't need much. But trips to big Walmarts and grocery stores are always great places to get in lots of extra steps. I was pretty stiff when I finally headed home.

We have another Blizzard watch from Sun. into Mon. Glad I'm safe at home with everything I might need. I'll get lots of sewing done and finish the Minecraft quilt. Haven't decided whether tomorrow will be finish the quilt or the pillow cases. Both are lots of fun and need to get in the mail.

Have fun dreaming about bright peacock fathers.

Wow - that's more steps than I typically get in! Sounds like you got plenty of exercise in preparation for the coming blizzard!

What a busy day, and you handled it all fine. emoticon

It sounds like you are ready for whatever snow comes with groceries in and sewing to keep you busy. "Be Prepared" is the Girl Scout motto, and you are!
