Working graveyard shift.

Tuesday, February 09, 2016

My new job I work 3 nights a week cleaning and preparing food for the next day at the rehab facility I work at. I don't mind working nights but I have fallen into a rut of not doing anything during my off time. I can't even seem to work on my art projects. I'm just a big ole lump sitting around. Maybe I'm just depressed and stressed over all the changes that have happened in my life, especially the change from a job I loved to one I dislike. I live in a small town with few job options, most of them are low end service type jobs. The two towns in my area are a half hour away or 45 minutes away and commuting on bad winter roads would be scary if I got a job in one of those places. I've been applying for jobs in other places but no luck so far.

i'd encourage you to be a good mama to yourself....if you had a child in a rut, you'd strongly encourage them to do healthy, life-building things. please do that for yourself. creativity will keep you sane and bring you joy in the midst of your sorrow.

Take small steps. Every day give your self a small goal and every Fay increase the goal. Once you get in a routine it will be second nature
