I did not finish anything today. There is a little project at the quilt store. You fill in a little card about what you plan to finish in the next 3 months and whenever you finish something you have to bring it in and they mark your card and when you fill that card you can get more. At the end of each quarter they are giving away some gift certificates and at the end of the year they are giving away a sewing machine. It's not like I can't find things to finish. So today I took the pillow cases and the quilt out to get my first 2 finished marks. Next on my list to finish is some St. Patrick's day place mats for mom. It's called the Stash Buster Challenge. Lots of fun and helped me put some order to what needs to be finished when. So that is a positive.

I'm always a bit drained after an emotional day like yesterday. But when I came home I got the things ready to ship to kids tomorrow and started to give my house a much needed cleaning. I started in the refrigerator. Oh my I've left some things in there way too long. Tomorrow I'll have to get in there with some nice hot water and wash those shelves.

That is after I go to town. I need to go talk to the people that have mom and dads home owners insurance. The closing date is March 18 and I am not going to pay the whole years insurance for them to have to refund 11 months. So they need to break it down and I'll pay that tomorrow.

I'm also feeling like I need to get more fiber in my diet. But I have problems eating anything raw. I lost my teeth a great many years ago but about 4 years ago I couldn't keep my lower dentures in my mouth anymore. They tell me I have no ridge to hold them in place. So that limited some of my eating choices even more. So those nice fruits and veggies all have to be cooked soft for me to eat. Except berries. I have no problem with berries or melon. But they are mostly water not fiber. I'll have to add that to the list of things to ask my doctor next week. At least my pneumonia is all gone.

    Your quilt shop is very motivating! What a neat challenge with chances to win stuff!

    If you have a blender you could grind up your veggies and add them to your other soups to get more fiber into your diet. Theres's also a challenge about fiber that you could try.
