Working out with knee pain

Knee pain so I decided not to walk or run. I couldn't just not do anything. So, I rode a bike. 8 miles in 51 minutes. I don't know if that's good or bad as far as time and distance are concerned . There was really no pressure on my knee while riding, but going against the wind was hell.. lol..I didn't feel like cooking breakfast, thank God I still have cabbage soup on hand.
