Meeting my Goal of 100

Sometimes, doing the "big things" to get us to our goals can seem overwhelming. That was how I was feeling last year. I just hard a hard time committing to doing very much because I was overwhelmed with going back to work, hectic schedule, lack of motivation, etc etc.

So, I started a team here on Sparks- the 100 Rep Challenge. I figured I could find time throughout my day to do 100 reps of something. That seemed like a challenging but not overwhelming commitment to make.

Sometimes, I would do 25 squats at a time when I used the restroom- potty squats! Sometimes, I would put on a resistance band and do 100 side steps around my house. Some months I did great...some months I kept forgetting. But every month, I still try to pick an exercise and do 100 reps. The team reminded me that I promised myself I would DO SOMETHING every day to get closer to my goals!

I am currently on a roll with planking for 100 seconds per day. I don't do it all in one shot. Sometimes it takes me 3 tries, other times more. But I feel myself getting stronger every day! And, no matter what kind of eating day I had, or how hectic the day was, I still feel like I accomplished something because I did my 100 reps!
