I ask friends that just can't seem to want to do any exercise, why not? Many just don't want to, they offer no reason, they know that it's what they should do for their bodies, even the reasons why, but, there is always that but. IMO it's all about that self imposed comfort zone, you know, what gives people that warm fuzzy feeling which in many cases is killing them slowly.
That full feeling after a huge meal of fat calories, sitting for hours watching TV, riding around for that perfect parking space, close by, so it isn't too far to walk. It's hard to put into words what a release of endorphins feels like, or that satisfied feeling of completing a workout you did that was better than the last one, or using you, your own energy to arrive at a destination on something that requires body movement, out doors in the unconditioned, mechanically heated air, still feeling those sprints you did to increase your heart rate.
To many the above is an unknown quantity, oh, they may have read about it, or talked to a friend about it, or maybe even tried some of it, only to tell themselves, it's just not for me, it's not in their comfort zone. But in reality that comfort zone will eventually dissipate into a neglected body that needed what it was designed for, movement, and respect for what you've been living with since day one.
