The struggle

Friday meet cancelled, and so I have the day to do whatever I need to do. My body (chemicals, tired, just finished a workout) tells me to sleep. To go lie down and rest. But all that I have learned tells me that is not necessarily the right thing to do. I read today's coaching tip - it said to alleviate back pain, move! And I know its true, my back hasn't been hurting as much lately But I have also read that sometimes you just really do need sleep. So what do I do, how do I know what is right? The urge to lie down and close my eyes is really intense - it is dragging me, my body feels like lead. I'm sure my diet doesn't help matters. I have been eating salads but HA I DIDNT TRACK YESTERDAY!! boom. There you go, girl, if you don't track, you can't prove you did something good. There are a million things I NEED to do, WANT, to do, SHOULD do, but I hate the paper that tells me this, lists make me angry. I will figure this out. But the struggle is real and the cake seems to be a lie.

    @koffee - been there! It seems strange to me, but I just remember - use it or lose it where muscles are concerned, and its muscles that holds our bones in lol @Hetta yes ma'am! You too! :)

    I had all sorts of back problems last year, and moving was one of the things they told me to do that surprised me. Athough doing too much of ANYTHING seemed to aggravate it, laying down and sitting especially made it worse. (And I actually had to do some tracking in order to believe what they were telling me!)

    One day at a time. I tell myself "I'm choosing to eat healthy. Not because I HAVE TO, but because I want to."
