March Goals and other stuff

So I woke up this morning clearly not motivated at all. I was hoping the kids would get a snow day (didn't happen). It was so warm in bed, so why not stay in bed where it's warm, right? I had every intention of working out today when I went to bed last night, but things changed this morning. I was certain it wasn't happening. So I dragged my butt out of bed and sat for a while. After I ate I convinced myself that even if it was only for a few minutes it was better than nothing. Besides I'm in a challenge on my Fitbit so I knew I needed to get some steps in anyway!! I managed to get off the couch and go downstairs and work out. I'm glad I did and I worked harder than I thought I would.
I am enjoying the peace and quiet as the kids are at school and my hubby is at work. So that's a good thing.
I was definitely more motivated in February and I hope that carries on into March. Although I only lost one pound, I am not beating myself up about it. I had two weeks that I wasn't able to get any workouts in due to my crazy schedule. I have a better work schedule this month to allow me more time to work out. Here are some of my goals for the month:
10,000 steps per day (I'm averaging about 7-8,000)
Drink more water
At least 500 fitness minutes for the month
I'm happy with the little changes that I've seen just in the last month. It's helping to keep me going forward.
