Day 568 Slow start but then

Saturday, March 05, 2016

It took me forever to talk myself into getting out of bed this morning. It was drizzly and it snowed a few minutes and I just wanted to stay under those covers. But once I got up I got moving.

First I rescued the garbage can from the street, then I cleaned out the front seat of the car. (Can't put mom on all that dog hair). Then I worked on the patterns I need to create. One for the Easter egg shaped place mats for mom and a Superman cape for my 2 yr old gs. Only he wants a star with a baseball in the center. Then I realized it was after 2 and I hadn't eaten lunch yet. So I fixed lunch and ran to town.

Got home just in time to make dinner and put the row on the temp. blanket. Oddly enough I got over 8000 steps in but I did play at the computer a while this evening were I chair march when I don't have to think too hard.

So tomorrow will involve a lot of sewing. My housework goal is to clean the wood floor in the dining room and kitchen. There was a mud monster at my house today.

I'm really making headway cleaning up the kitchen table of all the paperwork piles. Woo Hoo for me!

Sounds like you had a busy and productive day too. emoticon

I have a Girl Scout Gold Award Celebration to attend tomorrow so it will be a travel day with two friends whom I haven't seen for over a year. My husband said he will vacuum the car and fill it up with gas in the morning. He such a big help when it comes to keeping the car clean. We had snow last night too, and it's been dreary here all day, but it's supposed to climb to 60+ degrees tomorrow.

I wish for safe travels for my friends and me, and a great day for all of us, you, me and Koffeenut too!
