I decided when the dr wanted to up my blood pressure medication it was time to take control back.
On February 29, 2016 I decided to track everything I ate. What the actual heck. I had so much sodium in take it was unreal. So I sat down and planned our family menu for the week. There were days I ate different from the rest of the family. I knew things they wanted had to much sodium for me. I swore I would never make separate meals but I did it.
My family is a huge support. My girls are 10 and 16 (she will be 16 March 20). They know how to steer me away from the candy and chocolate. They know that if i am craving starbucks to plan something at home. They love to eat salad and are happy to once again eat salad.
My husband works lots to give me the chance to stay home with our girls. I love being able to go on field trips or pick them up if they are sick.
If you read this, you can accomplish this as well. Keep at it, keep trying. If you mess up, take a look at where you went wrong and plan for it to not happen again. Many people make mistakes. It is how we learn. Just make small goals. YOU CAN DO IT
