Day 572 Crazy day but all my fault

Tuesday, March 08, 2016

It was really a crazy day. This morning about 7 I let the dog out and forgot to tie him. Couldn't believe he didn't run in the day light. But then I decided I kinda didn't want to be awake yet. The next time I opened my eyes it was 11. Not good. Really screws up my schedule.

I did manage to sew a little, and clean a little and I got to sewing class. And now I'm crocheting while I watch some TV. So the day was not lost but can you even imagine what I could have accomplished it I hadn't slept an extra 3 hours.

Oh well tomorrow I'll go into town and take care of visiting mom and dad then do a little shopping and come home for a couple of days.

I have had many days like that, sleeping late in the morning, which I love because I am a night person. I'm having to become a morning person, however, because I have meds to take every morning before 9 AM. At least that is the plan! I function well at night, but not so well in the morning. I totally understand a messed up schedule. I have to write notes at night (my plans for the day) if I want to accomplish much in the morning, otherwise I while away the time on the computer or watch TV or read and then I rush to accomplish what I needed to do in the morning that didn't happen. No wonder I have so much clutter and so many unfinished projects, and scattered papers all over my desk and table. Oh well I suppose it's never too late to change my ways so I keep trying.

I'm going upstairs now to put the laundry in the dryer, and to start another load before I sleep. I'll probably read a bit before I turn out the lights, and I'll finish watching Stephen Colbert before I do that. Tomorrow is another day...
