Day 573 Sometimes days just take on a life of their own and then wow...

I managed to get out of bed early today. So read my emails and such then went to get my mail and off to town. I stopped at the attorneys because I needed a piece of paper I remember I left with him to send to some guy in Texas to get my name on a piece of property down there. My hubby died 4 1/2 years ago. This has been a bit of a struggle.
Then stopped at mom's. Oh sometimes her brain is just weird. She forgot how to empty her sweeper broom. So I had to do that. Then it was off to the store for a couple of interesting things and home again. It's now afternoon.
Grab a quickie lunch and off to the sewing room. I got the tops of her Easter place mats finished and decided what the back would look like. Then I came downstairs and actually vacuumed the computer room and off to my crochet hook.
But in the middle of all that exciting normal stuff I caught a message on facebook from one of my nieces. They got approved to adopt a little girl. They already have her as a foster child and will start the adoption proceedings now. She is a really cute little thing so aunty is going to make her a quilt for Easter. I think I can get it done because we aren't have Easter until April 3.
Tomorrow is pretty full. I'll pick mom up about 9:30, get her hearing aide checked and go have some lunch. Then we'll get pie and go to my aunts apt. She is almost 98 and really can't go out much anymore. So I'll get to run into JoAnn's and pick up some things to make mom a spring wreath for her door. Then I get 2 days at home because Sunday we are having a little birthday party for my dad. He's turning 90 next week.
Yes Moon I know all about being a night person. Sometimes I'm tired but my brain just gets to thinking and designing and there will be no sleep when that is going on. I'm tired tonight so I hope I can get to sleep early and not be tired driving tomorrow. But with my mom in the car I can play the radio....that helps with being tired while driving.
