Day 481 - 100,000

Friday, March 25, 2016

Thank you all for your kind comments on my blog post yesterday about Milestones. I'm getting ready to hit another one first thing tomorrow, when I cross 100,000 SparkPoints! I could have cheated and reached that point much earlier, but it was important to me to do it as legitimately as I could. It was one of my goals in this program to use the points as a measurement of my progress and commitment. I think it has worked!

As for my next Master's program - I haven't even submitted my application yet, so until I do and I'm accepted into the program, I'm not going anywhere! But, oh, how I love you all for all your support, encouragement, and affection. I'm so grateful to have you all in my life.

How has the support you've received on SP helped you in this journey? If you don't feel that you are getting the boost from your SparkFriends, then ask for more! If you would like comments on a blog post that you're particularly proud of, shout it out! We are here for you!

Have a wonderful weekend - whether you are celebrating Easter or the Spring Equinox or any other day that is holy and sacred. You are loved and cherished, and you deserve all the best that life has to offer.

Keep Sparking!

P.S. Happy Birthday, Dottie! I'm sending much love to you on your special, magical day!

Woot...woot~ 100,000 is SERIOUS! I need to start tracking so that I can accumulate more! And I've never tracked my exercise points...silly me! I LOVE my sparkling friends..truly LOVE them. It's funny that so many of them are mutual to both of us isn't it? I LOVE Fredie...a true kindred soul and I found her through you. I have so many other special friends Mary (Mewhenrysmama) our adorable Pickie98, FollyBeach is my virtual son! And so so many more!

We are a band of like minded individuals all looking for health and happiness and supporting each other along that pathway.

I'm happy we still have a while before study time starts tugging on your sleeve...actually I'm smiling ear to ear at the thought of it...time is precious and so are you! emoticon

Steve, you are so right about Spark Points. For anyone who is tempted to cheat, please remember that the only one you are cheating is yourself.

For new Sparkers signing in is a really easy way to start holding yourself accountable and accountability is what you need. Next step spin the wheel, promise yourself that you will track everyday and soon each day will be a step forward towards a healthier and therefore happier you.

I still have bragging rights on Spark Points, when I post this it will be 287,628 points.

Thanks Steve and Jane for the birthday love, you guys are the best! emoticon

You certainly do have much in your life to be grateful for. You're right about the cheating for Spark Points, or even Exercise Points. I can't imagine cheating as there is no reward in that. It is about earning them, and when you cross that milestone, it feels good that you've accomplished these things without cheating.

    Great blog

I have to say I found lots of support here when I was working and pursuing my Master's. Outside of my daughter, I think the support here was key in keeping going when I felt like I couldn't do it.
