Day 598 So glad that is over with.

Sunday, April 03, 2016

I'm just not a big crowd person anymore. I like to be able to talk to people and with this branch of the family there were over 30 people including kids in my brothers house today. With that big of a crowd my mom needs to have someone helping her with hearing what people are saying. She just gets confused and is frequently not having the same conversation as other people around her are.

I am super sore tonight. My steps were only about half of a normal day because I didn't get any exercise time and spent 3 hours driving. But I did get some weight lifting in. Everyone from Brookelynn, to Jonah, to Teddy and little Kaelynn wanted hugs from nanny JO. When I told little Teddy good bye he decided he was going with me. Carrying 2 to 3 year old around for any length of time is hard work when you have trouble standing for very long.

Really looking forward to most of the day at home tomorrow. After I got home late this afternoon I realized I forgot to put the white row at the end of March on my temperature afghan. So I had to rip out a couple of rows and redo them to get caught back up. Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind.

There's nothing like lifting a 3-year-old to wonder how you ever managed when YOU had little ones!

What a day! It sounds exhausting to me. It was good you got all the foodstuffs done ahead of time. That was a good plan.

I hope you have a more relaxing day at home tomorrow. This is an appointment week for me. Tomorrow is the dentist for teeth cleaning and Wednesday is the eye doctor. I'm gonna try to squeeze in some sewing this week since I didn't get to sew last week when the grands were here. Whew that was a busy week! Good Luck to both of us!
