WALK TO THE MOON

I have a full day today. Water Aerobics, this morning. Physical Therapy at 1 and aTherapeutic Massage at 2:30. So I am trying to put all this into my exercise tracker. I am in a challenge to get 5,000 steps a day. OK , I know I am a light weight in some areas emoticon

Anyway Purdue University has a conversion chart so that I can log in my water aerobics- 1 hour, and then log in steps taken. Each minute of water aerobics is 116 steps. WHOO HOO- this is going to be easier than I thought.


I am feeling more centered and balanced today. Yesterday was totally a day of contemplation. I needed to feed my soul. Is everything perfect today? Not even close. But everything is falling into place, because I chose to repair my framework.

Yesterday I planned our meals, prepared our grocery list, cleaned out the science experiments in the refrigerator, tidied up my "control center". That is my desk, vision board working area. I can't think when I am surrounded by clutter. In the process however, I have misplaced my favorite pottery mug.

I was trying to noodle out how to fit a craft table into my small sanctuary. emoticon The light finally dawned. I bought a mat that you would use under a desk and placed it on the top of my beautiful black $50 Craigslist desk. I have a lap top computer,which I can move to a small table, and voila there is my craft table. It does pay to think out of the box! My pocket book loves it. I had considered getting a glass top for the desk, but couldn't justify the cost. Now when I am feeling like I want to snack ( munch mindlessly in the evening), I can pull out the paints and become creative.

Todays Spark Coach program message was THINK BEFORE YOU BITE. I will add that to my vision board, right next to IF YOU BITE IT WRITE IT!!

"If you catch yourself reaching for food to quell emotions, simply stop, think about what you're doing, and remind yourself that you don't use food to deal with difficulties in your life. Call a friend, write in your journal, or get yourself involved in your favorite craft or hobby. If possible walk away from a situation that makes you feel like you need to be eating to comfort yourself."


I am adding this to my vision board also. Having a visual is like food for the soul. I have to remember that I can only control the things within my sphere, and if I am balanced, then I am contributing to the Peace in the Universe.

What do I want to accomplish this week? Work on the hooked rug I have been doing for over 3 years.

What is the one thing that is important to me today? Let go of the stress in my body.

What can I do to always remain calm? Deep Breathing Exercise.
