A heads up: this might be a bit TMI.
During our week-long college tour with the kid, we spent a lot of time sitting in big rooms for info sessions and a lot of time walking through campuses whose buildings we often didn't have access to. And in between, we spent a lot of time driving from one city to the next. So I didn't drink as much water as usual, since I am a woman of a certain age and no longer have the cast-iron bladder of my youth.
So it's been a relief to be home and to get back to drinking my 2-3 litres of water a day. It means I take plenty of bio-breaks each day, and I feel a bit sloshy - but the water (and night-time tea!) make me feel a bit healthier somehow.
