Meal Prepping

So I decided to meal prep on Sunday for the week. I put together grab n go snacks, made some egg muffins, black bean salsa, and cooked lots of chicken and veggies. All I have to do is heat most things and eat. I think it's going to be super helpful. Just have to be prepared for the days I'm out of the office and have to eat out. Like yesterday I resorted to KFC. After logging everything I ate, I still stayed within my calorie range. So yay me! It's going to be a great week! Weighing on Friday.

    My hubby & I do this every week and it means that we're never in the position of 'don't know what to eat, can't be bothered, let's order in a Chinese'. We've not had a take away or fast food meal for over 12 months now and it's worked for us.

    I bought one of those light insulated bags to keep snacks in to avoid last minute unhealthy choices. Food prep is a really good tool for keeping you on track. Way to go!
