Catching up

Monday, April 25, 2016

Wow it's hard to believe that it's already almost the end of April. Time really flies. It's been a busy month so far.

I haven't been working out as much as I should be. Its been about two weeks that I've done a "real" workout. I'm still getting exercise in but not an actual exercise session. I had the crappy schedule at work last week, working every other day. On paper it looks good, but in reality it's tough on the body (especially midnights), you just don't ever feel like you've caught up on sleep, meaning the last thing I want to do is work out. I've tried to focus more on my nutrition during this time. I have another schedule like that next week.

We did get a ton done outside over the weekend. My hubby and I redid the landscaping around our deck and we rebuilt our raised vegetable garden. I'm sore from all the work we did. Lifting rocks and dirt is no joke!! So I know I made up for not getting a proper workout during the week!! I will plant in a few weeks. It still gets into the 30's overnight sometimes so I don't want to risk losing any plants. I'll post pictures once I have everything planted.

I'm working tonight then off until Friday. I am planning to start the dreaded spring cleaning. I think I'm going to start in the kitchen. I'm so not looking forward to it. I will also be able to get back to some working out too. Looking forward to it.

I hope you are all having a great day!! Thanks for reading. emoticon

Time is flying by lately, so true.
I love landscaping work, you're right that dirt and rocks are heavy and that surely counts as ST!

That does sound rough, the back and forth and never catching up! All that landscaping sounds like quite the workout! I hope you have some good luck getting your workouts in now!
