What do you do if you don't feel motivated to put the the time, effort, and emotional energy into this lifestyle change? I can't keep waiting around for the Motivation Fairy, so my answer is this: Fake it until you make it.

I'm not really feeling up to this, but have recommitted myself to the journey. I'm acting as if the Motivation Fairy dusted me with her magic and gave me the fortitude to make good choices. Yesterday, I had 2 exercise sessions, drank all my waters, tracked my intake/activities, and ate well. Very proud of the last two!

I am a bit stiff this morning, but that just serves to remind me that I was away from it too long. I know better, and I'm trying to do better.

I ate really well yesterday, despite being away from home for most of the day, attending an event with a fabulous cocktail reception, dinner, and yummy desserts. Hard to pass up signature cocktails, elegant appetizers, and all the rest, but I did it without even thinking. Go, me!
