Time for new beginnings

Wednesday, May 18, 2016

Well it has been a long time since I was at this site. I have been thru hell and back since the last time as my relationship was broken, I came home from Rochester in November only to find out in January that my boyfriend cheated on me. I was devastated and did like I always do and ate. I decided to give him another chance but only if he confessed at church to our pastors and since it was his church to begin with I thought that might make him realize what he did. We are still a work in progress. Now to my other part of life, my son Nick's recovery. I am happy to announce that we returned to our beloved Mayo and his doctor removed his torn up bladder and replaced him with a bladder made from his intestines, amazing. While up at Rochester my son got involved with the Rochester Mustangs sled hockey team, made the news a couple of times (was very proud) and has now decided that Rochester is where he wants to go to college, he will be moving there in July to start school in August. I am now trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, starting over again at 54 what a concept. I am working towards losing 10 lbs so I will be able to get my breast reconstruction surgery I hope to do this in August, recover and then get a job, still figuring this part out! Sorry so long!

I am so glad to hear that you are back on the site. I know you've already been through so much and I'm so sorry to hear of additional troubles. I'm glad Nick continues to make progress...I think you are each other's rocks! Also hope speaking to your pastor will help get things sorted out.
    Keep going...you are an inspiration!
