Don't nibble with mediocrity

Someone once told me not to bite off more than I could chew. I said I would rather choke on greatness then nibble on mediocrity.
Last night, I watched the Golden State Warriors beat the Oklahoma Thunder in basketball. It was a great game, with the Warriors coming back from a 1-3 deficit in the seventh and final game, to win the series. It is a lot of fun to watch Stephen Curry, one of the most prolific shooters ever to play professional basketball. The Warriors play as a unit, passing the ball off, defending as a team, and they are a delight to watch. On to the championship.
Life is a lot like that. Do we act like the Warriors, using all the tools in our box to do great things? Or do we focus on one thing, and ignore the rest. Life doesn't work well if you don't become your warrior. Life is compromise, teamwork, and hopefully, personal greatness.
This means taking stock of yourself. Taking everything that you do, and giving it a good look and deciding that you are going to work as hard as possible to do everything you can to make your plan a success. That you will find exercise that works for you, that you will find food that is good, low calorie and good for you. That you will love yourself above all others, and succeed.
Get out there today and be your best warrior. Strive for your personal greatness. Nail your calories, track everything, workout ten extra minutes. Why? Because you are YOUR warrior. You are your personal greatness. You are the master of your destiny, and NOBODY can move you unless you want to be moved. So move today, because YOU want to, and because you want to look back on this day and smile, knowing you kicked it into high gear, just like the Warriors.
