Today's Promise: busy, yet fulfilling!

Since getting up this morning, I've made six bottles of freshly pressed juice (celery, carrots, pineapple, apples and ginger emoticon )! Sweated garlic and roasted Brussel Sprouts to complete my certification for Culinary RX! (Culinary Rx is an online instructional cooking and nutrition education course that healthcare professionals prescribe to their patients for prevention and lifestyle health. Check it out at plantricianproject.org/ ) Later today, I'm making a gluten-free, vegan pound cake with fresh strawberries. This recipe will be posted on my new food blog www.atmemestable.com which officially launches tomorrow! (I will also include the recipe for Meme's old-fashioned Pound Cake)! My blog will feature simple delicious food like Mom used to make...but with a healthy twist!

I am so excited to be starting this new chapter in my life!

    All the best to you! My morning smoothie is my breakfast staple. I don't do juices. I need all the fiber I can get. I am not into cooking, was always a raw food vegetarian, cooking only the sweet potatoes, steel cut oats and eggs, keeping it as simple as possible. No thought or time needed.
