It's been a while. As a result, after losing 90 lbs, I'm back with an 89 lb gain. I do appreciate having the one pound still gone, don't get me wrong, but not quite the result I was hoping for.
What's going well? I've been exercising almost every Monday (mostly biking) since November for at least 30 minutes. The only times I missed were because I was out of town for work or sick and there were only a few of those. I'm actually being consistent with exercising which is something I've had a hard time doing.
What's not going so well? My eating and drinking habits. Back to the same old routine of not counting calories, not cooking healthy means and drinking too much beer.
What's next? In addition to Mondays, I'm going to add a Wednesday work out. I'm back to tracking my food and cooking healthy meals at home. I'm mostly tracking the food groups I'm eating (because that was a successful place for me to start before) but, overtime will add calorie tracking and such. Last night I made mahi mahi with pesto, red quiona and roasted zucchini/summer squash/tomatoes with Parmesan cheese. I forgot how much I like cooking and eating healthy food.
