Whole 30 Report Wrap Up

Last Tuesday was when I wrapped up the Whole 30. Final results I lost 10lbs, 1.5 inches in my waist, 1.25 inches in my hips and .5 inch in both thighs. I feel like a lot more is going on inside than the outside. I feel like my digestion is on point. My complexion is clearer. My hair doesn't look or feel as dry and frizzy. My nails feel stronger. I feel fuller longer. When I eat I feel like it doesn't take much to make me feel satisfied. I've really enjoyed learning about how food effects the body, and looking at healthy eating with a different mindset.

I'm really happy with how I evolved over the weeks. The first two weekends were rough, because I felt I couldn't do my usual social activities. The last couple of weekends, I was fine. Like following the Whole 30 was my normal. I didn't think about cheat meals or booze at all.

Saturday I treated my dad to Kuma's Corner for Father's Day. It's a gourmet burger and beer joint. I enjoyed half my burger and a couple of beers and most importantly my dad's company. However, it was too much too soon. After our late lunch I went home and went straight to bed. So far I have not been great at incorporating non Whole 30 foods back into the diet, and I'm learning a lot. :)

Monday I was back on the Paleo wagon, and haven't strayed since.
