Reflections of an aging BOGUSANNIE

Monday, June 27, 2016

As I approach my 50th year (technically that won't be for close to 2 years from now), I am forever looking back at my health progress or lack there of.

I have been off work ill for a little over 2 years and although I have not been successful at losing weight and being healthy, I have never exceeded my worst case scenario.

I have just gone back to work and have made a clear line in the sand as far as where my health needs to be.

I have changed small things like water consumption, and removing meat from my diet. I have cut out most dairy and still battle my nemesis Mr Coke.

I have made a new goal of 10% of my body weight. Just so I can feel better and know that as little as that loss may be, it will point me in the right direction.

As much as I really am not happy to be back at work, I DO welcome the routine it brings back in to my life. I look forward to my regular 10 minute walking breaks throughout the day, as well as my bathroom squats.

I also look forward to blogging!
