Day 702 Odd little victory.

Today I of course had water in the sewing room and pop at the computer. Well this evening I decided I wanted more water. So I choose water instead of having another can of pop. That is a biggy for me. I love my pop. But I just didn't want it tonight.
I got to spend the whole day at home with only one phone call and that was from my daughter. I had left her a question on her voice mail. So she called to answer me back. Great way to spend the day.
I sewed and almost have a row together, but I made several mistakes on it but was able to patch and now they just look like extra pieces in my row. Tomorrow I'm supposed to have another day at home. It's getting close to time for quilt guild so I should make my quilt of valor patch. They give us a 8" square pattern every month and we are supposed to bring it back next month in any red, white and blue theme we want. When the gal in charge of them gets about 100 she puts them together into lap sized quilts for the Quilts for Valor program to give quilts to veterans in hospitals around the country. Love the program and am very glad to learn new blocks while helping a great program.
Eating was not easy today. Since my refrigerator more or less heated my food for a couple of days while it was broke this week I had to throw away stuff like mayo, salad dressing and that kind of stuff. I haven't been on a little shopping spree to replace any of that. So when I wanted milk gravy I don't have any milk. It wasn't easy to fix food. I guess I'll have to add that to my list for Monday. There are several things I have to do for mom and dad on Monday.
