Tame Your Sweet Tooth Challenge Day 5

It's generally becoming easier! And I can't get over how much better my body feels!

Yesterday my challenge was lunch, which I solved by one of my whole grain blueberry pancakes with a tsp of almond butter and one of low sugar jam.

I made a dessert last night by microwaving a fresh peach with a tsp of low sugar jam and a tsp of nonfat greek yogurt and a sprinkle of kind granola (1 TBS). It was satisfying. I think it may be the "act" of having dessert more than the actual content.

I don't like artificial sweeteners and my body doesn't, either, so when I say low sugar that product has sugar, but is 40 calories for 1.5 TBS with 8 g sugar rather than 50 cal for regular jam for 1 TBS and 12 g sugar. So per TBS it's 12 g vs. approx. 5.5 g. and at a tsp that's about 2 g - so I'm okay with that right now. Similar sugar cuts with the Kind granola that I use.

One thing I didn't agree with for the Tame Your Sweet Tooth challenge Day 5 - they say if you have a craving to use a diet beverage. Many of those chemicals also cause harm AND cause you to crave the real thing (ie. super-sweetened soda, etc.), so I disagree there.
