I have not had a soda in a week. I did have a sip of a coke one day but I don't count that. I use to be a soda junkie. I'd drink soda all day long. I cut back to only one soda a day, usually for dinner, January of this year. I got to thinking of how to cut empty calories and such when I started SparkPeople. After adding my 16.9 oz bottle of Dr. Pepper to the food counter, I realized how much it added not only per day, but per week.
392 Carbs Just per week!
It's a small step in being healthier. I thought I'd have a hard time letting go of the stuff. Now if I want something with caffeine in it I have a cup of coffee in the evening.
Be proud of your small accomplishments because without them the goal won't be closer.
