My cheat day wasn't really that bad. I tracked it and I am so over it.

One of the secrets to my weight loss success is my will power. I do not know if the sleep that I am getting is just making me have the ability to maintain my will power. It could be because I was finally fed up with being morbidly obese. What ever the reason I am completely grateful I have will power.
I have been low carbing since March. I have been completely happy with my weight loss of 44 lbs. Some weeks the scale shows a great jump followed by weeks of less than a lb. What ever it says it looks better than it did in February and I try to focus on the success and not the stumbles along the way.
This week I plan a stumble.. This is why. I step on the scale a couple of times a week. usually Saturday my weigh day, Monday and Thursdays. I usually see a fluctuation in my weight but it motivates me to keep going. This week I saw a 2 lb gain Monday and Thursday not a total of 4 just 2 lb increase.
I had 4 things that normally i would not have: crackers, icecream, mac and cheese and twisted tea. I consumed it. I tracked it. I am over it. My calories for the day were just over 2000. I was mindful of what I ate. I allowed myself to eat it. Heck the only one that has control of what goes in this mouth is me. ( i was mindful on portions if you want the specifics check my nutrition page)
So what should I do about it today? Eat healthy. I will eat a large salad with fresh veggies and lean protein for dinner and I will be so happy with myself that I did not feel guilty about it. Did I learn anything? Yes, this secret i will share... Friendly's black raspberry crunch sundae cones should be shared with family. A box is not a serving size. I ate 2 servings. Next time I buy them I will make sure that I have 3 friends or family members to share them with. :)
